Thanks a lot @Wellikan
I'm surprised by the signal, too, but I have to add it's fluctuating at elevation above 2°.I didn't think I could receive it.I think the signal's coming from the Afghan beam, not the Indian, because the tv package at 11492 V is Afghan.
The Madani TV feed may be on the Indian spot, but I'm not sure.
I must admit that I did not think that I will receive this satellite, because I thought it is not possible with my small antenna but from time to time I came across a weak signal at 11655 V and watched how it manifests.I could see it grow and then it gets weak. From that moment on,I monitored the signal and scanned when the signal became stronger, and at that point other transponders appeared on the spectrum. That's the only way I discovered 11492 V too.
I'm surprised you don't get this beam because you're closer,in eastern Ukraine,if I'm not mistaken.Maybe you should do what I did, stay with the antenna longer at this position and,who knows, maybe you're lucky enough to catch it.I'm convinced that eventually you'll get 11492 V,because, although fluctuating,it can reach over 9db.I managed to lock it when the signal exceeded 9dB,because it has 8PSK mode and fec 5/6,parameters not too friendly for our area compared to the beam.
I keep my fingers crossed you succeed.
I have to thank you for the map of the G-Sat 9 satellite posted in the first topic.I don't know where you found it,because I searched on net and forums and I couldn't find the map you posted. The one at FlySat is for India only.
I have a request, can I post this map on the Satellite Community forum? Thanks.
Kind regards
